Working with Children and Young People

In my supervision practice I work with Counsellors/therapists who work with adults and young people.

Having worked with these age groups for a long time, I draw on those experiences to enhance my practice.

I view the supervisory relationship as a safe collaborative space where you can reflect on your working processes, unconscious connections, professional development and training. We can also explore starting, maintaining or building your practice.

I support neurodivergence within the supervision setting, both with supervisees and clients.

I offer a safe space to explore concerns that arise from life's experiences.

There are many reasons to seek counselling and it is important to find a space that supports you.

I am passionate about the work I do, and provide a safe space to explore your concerns.

I understand that neurodivergent clients/ supervisees have unique strengths and varying support needs, by looking through this lens we find the best way to work together.

I have been working within educational settings; School, Colleges and Universities for many years. which has been incredibly humbling.

This experience enables me to support young people experiencing many areas of concern often including high risk, and safeguarding.

The space is safe, non-judgemental, confidential, and the young person is always at the centre of the work. Sometimes counselling is the only place they feel this autonomy.
